Job Description:
Core Responsibilities:
- Full-stack Quality Assurance: Responsible for end-to-end testing of Web3 platforms, covering front-end UI/UX, back-end APIs, and interactions with blockchain nodes.
- Test Engineering: Write, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) to improve regression testing efficiency.
- In-depth API Testing: Proficient in interface testing, using tools like Postman or Bruno to inspect RESTful/GraphQL API requests and responses, ensuring backend logic aligns with on-chain data.
- Test Case Design: Develop rigorous test cases for complex prediction market logic, such as order book matching, odds calculation, and dividend settlement.
- Web3-Specific Testing: Validate wallet connections (e.g., Metamask, WalletConnect), signature authorization, on-chain transaction status, and Gas fee estimation accuracy.
- Defect Tracking: Accurately identify the root cause of bugs (front-end compatibility, back-end logic, or contract responses) and drive rapid fixes with the development team.
Job Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Testing Expertise: 3+ years of experience in web automation testing, familiar with CI/CD workflows.
- API Proficiency: Skilled in API testing tools, capable of independently analyzing request payloads and response codes to identify data anomalies.
- Scripting Ability: Proficient in writing test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
- Tool Stack: Familiar with browser developer tools (DevTools), especially the Network and Application panels, for packet capture and analysis.
Web3 Experience:
- Hands-on Experience: Deep involvement in Web3 project testing, with familiarity in DeFi/prediction market products like GMX or Uniswap.
- Blockchain Knowledge: Understanding of EVM-compatible chains, smart contract interaction flows, and the use of blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan/Polygonscan).
- Financial Acumen: Intuitive grasp of trading mechanisms (e.g., liquidity pools, binary options logic) to detect subtle data calculation errors.
