Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to generate actionable insights for institutional clients and stakeholders, focusing on tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).
• Utilize Python and SQL to extract, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets related to tokenized assets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Design and develop custom tools and processes to streamline research workflows, automate data analysis, and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce detailed, long-form research reports that address market trends, regulatory developments, and technical challenges in the RWA space.
• Facilitate communication between teams and products to ensure data alignment, resolve discrepancies, and maintain consistent reporting standards.
• Identify existing data gaps and work closely with stakeholders to onboard new datasets, expanding the scope of our research capabilities.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of RWA.xyz research content, including data visualization, charting, and interactive dashboards.
• Provide technical support to internal and external clients during dashboard construction, maintenance, and functionality testing, ensuring user satisfaction and data accessibility.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in blockchain technology, tokenization, and financial markets to maintain the relevance and quality of research deliverables.
• Document research methodologies, findings, and recommendations to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analytical processes.

Job Requirements

• Proven expertise in data analysis, with a strong background in working with large datasets and financial instruments.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, including experience with data manipulation, automation, and database management systems.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js to create compelling visual representations of research findings.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in complex data environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality research outputs under tight deadlines.
• Experience with blockchain technology, smart contracts, and tokenized assets is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all research activities and deliverables.
• Proficiency in English for clear documentation, reporting, and client interactions.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies in the RWA and blockchain sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, financial research, or blockchain-related projects.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, asset tokenization, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing is preferred.
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data, including CSV, JSON, and database formats.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing research code and documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using SQL databases for querying and analyzing real-time data feeds.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for research processes and tools.
• Experience with API integration to source data from external platforms and services.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify new research angles and improve existing methodologies.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance RWA.xyz's data visualization capabilities and user experience.
• Conduct peer reviews of research deliverables to ensure quality and consistency across the team.
• Support the onboarding of new data sources, including validation, integration, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain internal dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to research activities.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on data analysis techniques and tools.
• Contribute to the development of research frameworks that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze market data to identify emerging opportunities and risks in the tokenized asset space.
• Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure data practices adhere to relevant regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay ahead of technological advancements and industry trends.
