Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Security Specialist to enhance our organization's security posture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security measures to protect our systems and networks against evolving cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance security protocols to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Create, implement, and deploy strong security architectures and strategies to strengthen systems and networks against cyber threats
- Perform in-depth risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses to proactively detect and mitigate potential security weaknesses
- Manage and execute the deployment of security measures, including encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control mechanisms via MDM
- Lead ongoing improvement efforts to strengthen security procedures and response effectiveness, proactively addressing emerging threats
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures in the software development lifecycle
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Experience with security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and MDM solutions
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud security and DevSecOps practices
- Knowledge of compliance regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS
- Familiarity with scripting languages for security automation
- Experience with security incident response and forensic analysis
