Job Description
As a Blockchain Security Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security audits across the entire blockchain business chain. Your role involves vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and simulated attacks to identify potential risks. You will collaborate with business teams to drive remediation efforts and ensure security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-chain Security Audits: Perform end-to-end security assessments and penetration testing for blockchain operations. Identify vulnerabilities through scanning and simulated attacks, and facilitate timely remediation.
- Smart Contract Security: Conduct code audits for smart contracts to detect logic flaws, improper access controls (e.g., privilege escalation), and other vulnerabilities that may lead to financial losses or operational risks.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Participate in penetration testing and security hardening for cloud services and endpoint environments. Configure and optimize security rules, and respond to routine security incidents or emergencies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields preferred.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, especially in blockchain security or Web3.
- Proficiency in blockchain architecture and smart contracts; familiarity with Web3 attack vectors and defenses (e.g., Slither, Mythril, Echidna, Foundry/Hardhat).
- Strong cybersecurity skills: penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, network traffic analysis, and malware analysis (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, IDA Pro).
- Knowledge of cloud-native security design and technologies (AWS KMS, ASM, IAM, CloudTrail; tools like Prowler).
- Experience in large-scale security projects and independent troubleshooting.
