Job Description
Insrt Labs is building the access layer for non-fungible digital asset DeFi, enabling users to participate in metaverse capital markets through an aggregation, abstraction, and simplification layer. Our protocol serves as a foundational infrastructure for demand-side liquidity in the NFT space, initially focusing on NFT PFPs and other collectibles. As a globally distributed and remote organization, we operate across all corners of the world, leveraging a team of experienced operators who have previously worked at industry-leading entities such as OlympusDAO, Drift, UXD, Premia Finance, UBS, and Merrill Lynch. We have raised a $2.2m pre-seed round from investors who have supported successful projects like 0x, Alchemy, Lyra Finance, and others, positioning us at the forefront of innovation in decentralized finance and digital asset markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to design and implement protocol mechanisms that ensure secure and efficient management of user funds
- Develop and maintain Solidity smart contracts that automate on-chain strategies, facilitate cross-protocol integrations, and enable seamless interactions with decentralized applications
- Create comprehensive test suites to validate the functionality, security, and performance of our Solidity contracts, ensuring robustness against potential vulnerabilities
- Contribute to the documentation and onboarding processes for our protocol, providing clear technical explanations for users and developers
- Engage with the community and stakeholders to gather feedback, identify use cases, and refine the protocol's capabilities for NFT-based DeFi solutions
- Monitor and analyze blockchain data to optimize contract performance, improve user experience, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to maintain high-quality standards across the development team
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in developing Solidity smart contracts for decentralized finance protocols, with a strong understanding of Ethereum blockchain architecture
- Deep knowledge of cryptographic principles, secure coding practices, and decentralized application development frameworks
- Expertise in automated testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and security audits for blockchain systems
- Strong background in blockchain development, preferably with experience in projects related to NFTs, liquidity provision, or metaverse infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining alignment with the team's strategic goals and development timelines
- Experience with blockchain analytics tools and protocols to monitor network activity, optimize contract performance, and ensure system reliability
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges in complex blockchain ecosystems
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols, liquidity mechanics, and token economics to contribute to the development of innovative financial products
- Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and industry trends in the blockchain and digital asset space
