Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and execution of UI design for decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to refine design requirements, conduct user research, and iterate on prototypes based on feedback and performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components to ensure consistency and scalability in Web3 product development.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to translate design mockups into functional code, while ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and performance standards are met.
• Stay updated on emerging Web3 trends, technologies, and design best practices to continuously innovate and improve the user interface of blockchain products.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user insights to optimize the design of decentralized platforms and enhance user engagement.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including wireframes, user flows, and interaction diagrams, to support development and stakeholder communication.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to explore creative solutions for complex user problems in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Ensure all design outputs comply with security protocols and privacy regulations specific to blockchain applications.
• Provide guidance to junior designers and contribute to the overall design strategy for Web3 product development.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in UI/UX design with a focus on blockchain or decentralized technologies, preferably 3+ years in a similar role.
• Fluent in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Adobe Photoshop, with a strong portfolio showcasing Web3-related projects.
• Demonstrated understanding of Web3 fundamentals, including smart contracts, decentralized storage, and cryptographic principles.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong grasp of typography, color theory, and layout composition for digital interfaces.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes and conduct user testing to validate design decisions in a blockchain context.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with product teams, developers, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of responsive design frameworks and cross-browser compatibility considerations for decentralized applications.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and iterative design processes to align with blockchain project timelines.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript to understand the technical constraints of Web3 UI implementation.
• Passion for blockchain innovation and a commitment to designing interfaces that prioritize user privacy, security, and decentralization.
