Job Description
Lunar Strategy is hiring a full-time Web3 Content Writer & Marketer based in Lisbon, Portugal. This role is ideal for someone deeply immersed in the Web3 space, with strong writing skills and the ability to research complex blockchain projects. You will develop clear narratives and create high-performing content across various platforms. The position offers in-person or hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Research Web3 projects, ecosystems, and narratives — from whitepapers to Discords.
- Write long-form content: articles, blogs, deep dives, explainers, and founder profiles.
- Produce short-form content: Twitter threads, captions, ad copy, and promotional blurbs.
- Draft and edit PR content: press releases, announcements, and media-ready materials.
- Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to develop content that supports campaign goals.
- Manage and grow our presence on X (formerly Twitter) — crafting tweets that perform.
- Deliver work independently and on deadline, while maintaining high editorial standards.
- Stay current on Web3 news, trends, and competitors to inform messaging and content.
Job Requirements
- Must be based in Lisbon and available for in-person or hybrid collaboration.
- 2+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or content marketing.
- Portfolio showing long-form Web3/tech writing, PR writing, and social media content.
- Strong command of English (native or near-native level).
- Excellent research and synthesis skills — able to simplify complex topics.
- Comfortable working with remote tools like Slack, Notion, ClickUp, and Google Docs.
Nice to Have
- Experience working directly with L1s, DeFi protocols, or DAOs.
- Understanding of SEO for crypto-related content.
- Track record of growing audiences or engagement through written content — especially on X.
