Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for driving the progress of our collaborative projects, by building and maintaining partnerships within the Web3 and cryptocurrency industries. This role will involve working closely with internal and external teams to identify and develop strategic opportunities, ensuring the successful execution and management of collaborative initiatives. The ideal candidate will also be tasked with analyzing market trends, creating business development strategies, and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders to support company growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities within the Web3 and cryptocurrency sectors
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand market reach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, investors, and clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with technical capabilities
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions
- Monitor and report on the performance of existing partnerships to ensure ROI
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts for collaborative projects
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the blockchain ecosystem
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure partnership agreements meet regulatory standards
- Develop presentations and proposals to communicate partnership value to stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the tech or blockchain industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing cross-industry collaborations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust with stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to assess market potential and partnership viability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and relationship management
- Knowledge of Web3 technologies, decentralized systems, and cryptocurrency ecosystems
- Experience with SaaS platforms, NFT marketplaces, or blockchain-based solutions is preferred
- Ability to create and present compelling business cases for new initiatives
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
- Fluency in English with additional language skills (e.g., Chinese, Japanese) a plus
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams or complex projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- Strong understanding of digital transformation and innovation strategies
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable business strategies
- Experience with CRM tools and project management software is required
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing cryptocurrency and blockchain activities
