Job Description:
Senior Core System Engineer for Securities Firms (Trading, Clearing & Settlement, Accounting Systems)
- Core System Architecture: Design and develop architectures for trading, accounting, and clearing & settlement systems, ensuring data consistency and fund security. Participate in the design, optimization, and iteration of core system technical architectures.
- External System Integration: Lead system integration with external institutions such as Clearing Brokers and Execution Venues.
- Accounting & Reconciliation Systems: Build securities-level accounting and End-of-Day (EOD) reconciliation systems to ensure consistency and accuracy with clearing institutions, upstream brokers, and regulatory reporting.
- Margin Trading & Derivatives: Design and iterate risk engines, including margin calculations and forced liquidation/clearing logic. Optimize fund processes like deposits, withdrawals, and transfers to ensure fund security.
- System Stability & Emergency Response: Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and emergency handling for core systems. Collaborate with compliance, operations, and product teams to maintain stable business operations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
- 5+ years of backend/distributed system development experience, with at least 3 years in core system development for securities firms or exchanges.
- Familiarity with the full order lifecycle and OMS/EMS system design.
- Proficiency in FIX protocol and ability to independently integrate FIX Engine systems.
- Deep understanding of clearing, settlement, and accounting mechanisms, with hands-on experience in designing securities-level accounting systems.
- Strong engineering skills and excellent communication in both Chinese and English.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building overseas/offshore securities core systems from scratch.
- Familiarity with open-source or commercial products related to accounting or FIX protocols.
