Business Development at Flipster

The Business Development role at Flipster requires a unique blend of cryptocurrency expertise, sales acumen, and regional market knowledge. The position demands professionals who can drive futures trading growth in specific emerging markets while navigating the complexities of Web3 environments.

• Mandatory experience in Business Development/Sales within Web3 cryptocurrency exchanges
• Proven track record with minimum $30M monthly futures trading volume performance
• Fluency in Vietnamese or CIS regional languages plus professional English proficiency
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency derivatives and futures trading mechanics
• Strong relationship-building skills with traders, KOLs, and community leaders

Flipster, as a global cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, is strategically targeting high-growth emerging markets (Vietnam and CIS regions) to expand its futures trading business. The mandatory language requirements and specific regional focus indicate their intention to build localized market penetration rather than generic global expansion. The emphasis on $30M monthly trading volume performance suggests they prioritize candidates with proven capability to move significant capital in crypto markets. Their requirement for English as the interview language while demanding local language proficiency reflects their global-local operational model in the crypto space.

As an interviewer for this position, I would prioritize candidates who can demonstrate concrete metrics from their previous Web3 business development roles, particularly in futures trading volume generation. The ideal candidate should showcase their ability to identify and cultivate partnerships with high-value traders and influencers in their respective regions. Cultural fluency in either Vietnamese or CIS markets will be scrutinized beyond just language proficiency. Given the technical nature of cryptocurrency derivatives, candidates must display both commercial acumen and deep product knowledge during case study discussions.
