Job Description
The Overseas Payment Business Development role focuses on expanding and negotiating partnerships for the company's payment products (such as Visa cards) to drive adoption and usage within partner ecosystems. Responsibilities include identifying and fostering relationships with overseas financial institutions, merchants, payment service providers, cross-border e-commerce platforms, and consumer platforms to establish long-term collaborations. The role also involves designing and implementing partnership models (e.g., co-branded cards, benefit collaborations, joint marketing initiatives) based on market and client needs. Additionally, the position requires meeting company-set targets for channel expansion, card issuance volume, and transaction volume. Regular market and competitor analysis is essential to provide strategic recommendations for channel growth and product/market optimization. Close collaboration with internal teams (product, risk management, compliance, and operations) ensures smooth project execution and implementation.
Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Finance, Economics, or International Trade.
- 3+ years of experience in payment, finance, card issuance, or channel expansion; Visa/MasterCard/UnionPay/payment institution experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of payment industry, cross-border transactions, and card business models.
- Proven track record in channel development and business negotiation.
- Existing client resources and successful partnership cases are advantageous.
- Excellent communication, stress management, and project execution skills.
- Preferred qualifications: Experience in cross-border e-commerce, OTA, education globalization, or internet platforms.
- Fluency in English or other languages for direct overseas client communication.
