Job Description
Manta Network is seeking a dynamic Community Manager to drive global awareness and user engagement for our privacy-focused blockchain project. This role will be pivotal in shaping the community's growth, fostering relationships with developers, enthusiasts, and stakeholders, and amplifying the project's impact through strategic outreach. The ideal candidate will work closely with the core team to execute community initiatives, manage social media platforms, and create compelling content that aligns with our vision of decentralized privacy solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, particularly Polkadot, and a passion for advancing privacy technologies in the Web3 space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community growth strategies to expand Manta Network's global footprint
- Manage social media platforms (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, etc.) to maintain active engagement with users and developers
- Create and curate high-quality content including blog posts, tutorials, and updates that educate the community about privacy and blockchain innovations
- Organize virtual events, AMAs, and hackathons to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the ecosystem
- Monitor community sentiment and engagement metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align community initiatives with overall business goals
- Build and nurture relationships with key influencers, partners, and stakeholders in the crypto and Web3 space
- Conduct market research to understand user needs and competitive landscape in privacy-focused blockchain solutions
- Develop onboarding programs for new users and developers to ensure smooth integration with the platform
- Manage community feedback channels to address concerns and incorporate user suggestions into product development
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a crypto community manager or marketer with a successful track record in building developer communities
- Deep technical knowledge of Polkadot ecosystem, including its architecture, governance model, and developer tools
- Strong understanding of privacy technologies such as zero-knowledge proofs, encryption protocols, and anonymous transactions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Fluency in English and additional languages (Spanish, Chinese, Japanese) is a plus for global outreach
- Experience with community management platforms like Discord, Telegram, and Reddit for engagement optimization
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) to measure campaign effectiveness
- Ability to create visually appealing graphics and videos for community content distribution
- Strong organizational skills with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cross-functionally with developers, marketers, and product teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address community challenges and improve user experience
- Passion for blockchain innovation and commitment to advancing privacy-focused solutions in the Web3 space
- Minimum 3 years of experience in crypto/Web3 community management or related fields
- Knowledge of decentralized applications (dApps) and their development lifecycle
- Experience with community metrics tracking and KPI optimization for growth
- Ability to conduct competitive analysis of privacy-focused blockchain projects
- Strong understanding of user acquisition strategies in the crypto market
- Experience with community-driven product development processes
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality output
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and evolving blockchain technologies
