Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data warehouse architectures tailored for blockchain ecosystems, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of transactional data, smart contract logs, and on-chain metrics.
• Design and execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple public chains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and emerging blockchain protocols.
• Implement real-time data processing pipelines using technologies like Apache Kafka, Flink, or Spark Streaming to monitor blockchain activity and generate timely analytics reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver actionable insights that support product development and business decision-making.
• Optimize data models and query performance to ensure high availability and low latency for blockchain analytics applications.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and patterns in blockchain networks, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools to present complex blockchain data in an intuitive and user-friendly manner for stakeholders.
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards while handling sensitive blockchain information.
• Participate in the design and implementation of data governance frameworks to maintain data quality and integrity across blockchain systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for blockchain data services, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in building data warehouses for blockchain ecosystems, with a strong understanding of both offline batch processing and real-time data streaming technologies.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and blockchain-specific storage solutions like IPFS or Filecoin.
• Proficiency in data processing frameworks such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Flink, with hands-on experience in designing ETL pipelines for blockchain data.
• Knowledge of blockchain protocols and consensus mechanisms, including proof-of-work, proof-of-stake, and sharding techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning for large-scale datasets.
• Ability to develop and maintain data visualization tools using platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or custom dashboards for blockchain analytics.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with product teams, engineers, and stakeholders in delivering data-driven solutions.
• Experience in team leadership and mentorship, with a track record of building and training data analytics teams in blockchain environments.
• Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices for blockchain data management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure accurate and reliable blockchain data analysis results.
• Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, along with certifications in blockchain technology or data engineering.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing blockchain data infrastructure.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, with experience in developing blockchain data tools and applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality blockchain data services within tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple data projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of results.
