Job Description
Developer Relations - Gaming is a dynamic role focused on fostering collaboration between ChainSafe and the gaming industry ecosystem. This position requires building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, publishers, and partners, to drive business growth and community engagement. The ideal candidate will also contribute to content creation, documentation, and feedback loops that support ChainSafe's mission in the gaming sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with gaming industry stakeholders, such as developers, publishers, and partners, to align with ChainSafe's strategic goals.
- Identify and develop business opportunities that create value for ChainSafe and its partners through targeted collaboration and partnership strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design and implement growth strategies, including community expansion initiatives and market positioning plans.
- Create and produce technical content for various platforms, including video walkthroughs, tutorials, blog posts, and interviews with gaming product managers, to educate and engage the community.
- Develop and maintain accessible documentation for gaming products, ensuring clarity and usability for developers and end-users.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and improvements on existing software documentation to enhance user experience and product reliability.
- Engage with the gaming developer ecosystem through mentoring, support, and guidance, both online (Discord, Twitter) and offline (meetups, hackathons, conferences).
- Collect and analyze feedback from developers and communities to inform product improvements and refine ChainSafe's offerings.
- Collaborate with gaming product managers to understand the web3 ecosystem and ensure product-market fit through strategic insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Develop an engagement vault and produce bi-weekly reports to track community growth metrics, feedback trends, and partnership progress.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in developer relations, community management, or product marketing within the gaming or blockchain industry.
- Strong technical background with the ability to create and explain complex concepts in accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, writing, and interpersonal engagement, to effectively interact with stakeholders and communities.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to align strategies and deliver results.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., video editing, blogging platforms) and documentation systems (e.g., Git, Markdown).
- Experience in organizing and executing community events, both virtual and in-person, to foster engagement and networking.
- Knowledge of web3 technologies, blockchain ecosystems, and gaming industry trends to provide informed insights and recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret feedback, track metrics, and generate actionable reports for team decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred for global community engagement.
