Developer Relations Engineer at Agoric

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Building smart contracts on the Agoric platform, including instructional examples and reusable components.
• Presenting at conferences, networking with developers, and evangelizing the Agoric platform at meetups, online events, and in-person gatherings.
• Effectively communicating with the Agoric developer community through platforms like Discord, Telegram, and Slack.
• Utilizing excellent writing skills to assist in the development of blog posts, podcasts, documentation, FAQs, tutorials, guides, and code samples.
• Deeply understanding the web3/crypto user mindset within the DeFi space and representing that perspective with Engineering and other teams.
• Acting as a liaison between the greater community and internal product and engineering teams.
• Representing the Agoric brand with high integrity in all interactions.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in building smart contracts, preferably on the Agoric platform or similar blockchain environments.
• Strong presentation and networking skills, with the ability to engage and inspire developers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating clear and engaging content.
• Deep understanding of the web3/crypto ecosystem, particularly within the DeFi space.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and the broader community.
• High level of professionalism and integrity in representing the Agoric brand.
