Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company to ensure effective management and compliance with regulatory standards. The incumbent will manage end-to-end financial processes, including bookkeeping, auditing, and financial administration. They will also monitor daily financial activities such as payroll processing, invoicing, and transaction management. Additionally, the position involves maintaining accurate and organized record-keeping systems for financial statements and company documentation. The candidate will serve as the primary liaison for external bookkeepers and auditors, ensuring seamless coordination with third-party professionals. They will also be tasked with identifying potential risks to financial operations and developing strategies to mitigate them while managing stakeholder expectations. Furthermore, the role requires negotiating and managing commercial agreements, ensuring they align with business objectives and legal requirements. The individual will also oversee external legal counsel and third-party relationships to optimize business costs and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee comprehensive financial management, including business processes and administrative functions.
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day financial operations such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactional activities.
  • Maintain accurate and secure filing systems for financial statements and company documents.
  • Coordinate end-to-end bookkeeping and audit processes, acting as the primary contact for external auditors and bookkeepers.
  • Ensure strict adherence to accounting policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies to support financial planning.
  • Manage financial accounting systems, monitoring financial data, and generating timely reports.
  • Identify operational risks, propose mitigation solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the process.
  • Negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals and legal frameworks.
  • Oversee external legal counsel, key stakeholders, and third-party relationships to minimize costs and ensure sound legal advice.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate record-keeping systems and financial documentation.
