Job Description
This role focuses on enhancing the developer experience and technical infrastructure of the Econia platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with DeFi developers, institutional partners, and the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of Econia's tools and protocols. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining documentation resources, participating in strategic discussions for protocol evolution, and supporting community-driven development initiatives. The position also involves engaging with builders during events and hackathons to foster innovation and adoption of Econia's ecosystem. The goal is to streamline development workflows, reduce integration friction, and position Econia as a leading platform for DeFi infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Econia's developer tooling and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability while incorporating feedback from integrating partners to refine features and address pain points
- Collaborate with DeFi developers and institutional clients to design and implement integrations with Econia's protocols, creating standardized frameworks that accelerate development timelines
- Develop comprehensive documentation and tutorials for Econia's tooling and core protocol code, including API guides, integration examples, and technical whitepapers to enable developers to onboard efficiently
- Participate in cross-functional brainstorming sessions with the engineering team to identify opportunities for protocol upgrades, proposing innovative solutions that align with market demands and technical feasibility
- Represent Econia Labs at hackathons, developer conferences, and other community events, guiding builders through workshops and providing mentorship to foster ecosystem growth
- Monitor integration feedback from the developer community, analyze patterns, and implement iterative improvements to enhance user experience and technical robustness
- Collaborate with QA engineers to design testing protocols for new tooling releases, ensuring compatibility across different blockchain networks and development environments
- Develop onboarding materials for new developers, including technical training sessions and integration roadmaps to build a sustainable developer ecosystem
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain development, with a strong understanding of DeFi protocols and infrastructure tools such as smart contract frameworks, oracles, and cross-chain solutions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with developers, institutional partners, and cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts into accessible documentation
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate integration challenges, design scalable solutions, and implement improvements based on data-driven insights
- Proficiency in documentation tools like Markdown, Confluence, or Notion, with experience creating technical guides and tutorials for complex systems
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with the engineering team, balancing hands-on development with strategic planning
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines to manage documentation updates and tooling releases efficiently
- Knowledge of Ethereum and other blockchain ecosystems, including understanding of gas optimization, security audits, and network interoperability
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot integration issues, optimize tooling performance, and provide technical support to developers at all skill levels
- Ability to present technical concepts at events and hackathons, engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences to promote Econia's ecosystem
- Experience with developer relations strategies, including community management, feedback collection, and onboarding programs for new contributors
