Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and research teams to shape technical strategies and address complex development challenges
• Provide end-to-end legal guidance for products throughout their entire life cycle, including pre-launch and post-launch phases
• Act as a bridge between internal organizations and external stakeholders, ensuring regulatory alignment across all operations
• Develop and implement internal compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Oversee regulatory filings, licensing processes, and permit management for all product initiatives
• Ensure adherence to evolving legal standards, industry regulations, and jurisdiction-specific compliance requirements
• Provide strategic leadership on emerging cryptocurrency and blockchain-related legal issues
• Conduct thorough legal research to monitor regulatory changes and industry developments
• Coordinate with external legal counsel to address complex compliance matters and contractual obligations
• Review, draft, and negotiate legal documents including NDAs, IP agreements, and partnership contracts
• Identify and mitigate legal risks across product development, deployment, and maintenance cycles
• Develop educational materials to enhance team understanding of regulatory landscapes and compliance best practices
• Support cross-functional teams in navigating legal complexities while maintaining project timelines and quality standards
• Monitor and analyze legal trends to anticipate potential regulatory impacts on product roadmap and business strategy
• Ensure all product activities comply with international regulations and local legal frameworks

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in legal compliance for technology products, preferably in blockchain or cryptocurrency space
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks governing digital assets, smart contracts, and decentralized systems
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to assess complex legal risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Strong collaboration abilities to work effectively with product, research, and external legal teams
• Ability to translate legal requirements into actionable guidance for product development teams
• Experience with regulatory filings and compliance documentation for emerging technologies
• Knowledge of open-source licensing models and public goods frameworks in blockchain ecosystems
• Excellent communication skills to educate non-legal stakeholders on regulatory implications
• Ability to develop and maintain compliance policies that align with business objectives
• Proficiency in contract law and negotiation techniques for technology-related agreements
• Strong research capabilities to stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes
• Experience managing relationships with external legal counsel for complex compliance matters
• Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional team efforts
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously
