Product Manager II - Platform
Job Description
Responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of platform-based products focused on Credit and Market Risk domains. This role requires a deep understanding of financial risk management principles and the ability to translate business needs into actionable product strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision aligned with business objectives, focusing on Credit and Market Risk solutions
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle management process from concept development to market launch
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to create product designs and ensure rapid delivery of new capabilities and features to customers
- Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics to measure product success and guide development decisions
- Facilitate alignment across teams by communicating the shared vision and steering execution through complex projects
- Monitor progress on product initiatives and provide regular updates to cross-functional partners and executive leadership
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement
- Manage product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business impact and customer value
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate product solutions against user needs
- Ensure product quality by working with QA teams to define testing protocols and monitor release readiness
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in financial technology or risk management domains
- Proven track record of successfully managing product development from concept to launch
- Strong understanding of Credit and Market Risk frameworks, including regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed product decisions
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey product vision to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and manage complex cross-functional relationships
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence)
- Experience with product lifecycle management processes and release planning techniques
- Strong leadership skills to guide teams toward common goals and ensure timely delivery of products
- Ability to create and maintain product documentation, including requirements specifications and user guides
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges in product development and delivery
- Knowledge of customer-centric design principles and user experience best practices
- Ability to develop and present compelling business cases for product initiatives
- Experience with data-driven decision making and product analytics tools
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
