Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term strategy for expanding the Base ecosystem, focusing on scalable solutions that attract millions of builders and billions of users while maintaining alignment with core mission and values.
• Lead the full product development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, and launch, for tools and services that directly enhance community member success and engagement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and other departments to refine the ecosystem product roadmap, ensuring seamless integration of technical capabilities, user experience, and business goals.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product effectiveness, ecosystem growth, and user satisfaction, using data analytics to inform strategic adjustments and operational improvements.
• Engage with ecosystem builders to identify opportunities for leveraging existing community resources, reducing redundant development efforts, and creating sustainable value through collaborative innovation.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation in the ecosystem space, translating insights into actionable product strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure product deliverables meet user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact, while maintaining a clear focus on scalability and long-term growth.
• Develop and maintain documentation for product specifications, user flows, and roadmap timelines to ensure transparency and alignment across teams and external partners.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a product manager in high-growth tech environments, with a demonstrated track record of scaling products to large user bases and complex ecosystems.
• Advanced understanding of product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution frameworks, including agile methodologies and lean startup principles.
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision making, capable of interpreting metrics to optimize product performance and ecosystem growth.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate product vision, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, decentralized systems, or Web3 ecosystems, with experience in designing tools that support developer communities and user adoption.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and deliver results under tight deadlines while maintaining a focus on long-term strategic goals.
• Collaborative leadership skills to build relationships with ecosystem builders, foster innovation, and create feedback loops that enhance product development and community engagement.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and user research techniques (e.g., surveys, interviews) to ensure product success and user-centric design.
• Preferred: Experience with open-source ecosystems, community management strategies, or decentralized governance models to drive sustainable growth and developer participation.
