Job Description
The Pork Management Operation (PMO) role is a critical position responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of projects within an organization. This role requires proactive coordination of cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. The PMO will independently manage project planning, execution, implementation, and review processes, maintaining oversight of project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders across various departments to identify project needs, define scope, and establish clear goals. The PMO will also monitor project progress, address risks and challenges, and ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards. Additionally, this role requires the ability to document processes, create status reports, and communicate project updates to senior management and team members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate collaborative communication between cross-functional departments to ensure project alignment and stakeholder engagement.
  • Independently manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, implementation, and review, to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Document project processes, create comprehensive status reports, and communicate updates to senior management and team members.
  • Collaborate with department heads to secure resources, resolve conflicts, and support team performance during project execution.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to methodologies and best practices in project management.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and senior management to ensure transparency and alignment with business objectives.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a minimum of 3 years managing complex projects across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess project risks, evaluate performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey project updates, requirements, and outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience in managing project teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Knowledge of quality management frameworks and risk assessment techniques to ensure project compliance and success.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation, including plans, reports, and status updates.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with budget management and cost control strategies to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and provide solutions to unexpected challenges during project execution.
  • Preferred certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 to demonstrate expertise in project management.
  • Fluency in English and potentially other languages to communicate with international stakeholders and team members.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
