Key Responsibilities
- Systematically analyze trends and industry dynamics of blockchain projects in primary and secondary markets, including economic models, development data, and competitor analysis. This involves identifying key patterns, market opportunities, and potential risks through quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Conduct feasibility studies and due diligence for proposed investment projects, evaluating economic model viability, valuation accuracy, and investment return potential. Prepare detailed analysis reports that provide clear recommendations for project approval or rejection.
- Monitor the operational performance of active investment projects, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust investment strategies dynamically to optimize returns while maintaining risk control. This includes regular reporting and strategic recalibration based on market changes.
- Continuously track market competitors and industry developments, gathering and synthesizing data to support investment decision-making. Provide actionable market insights that inform portfolio management and strategic direction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including investment analysts, legal advisors, and project managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, technological advancements, and macroeconomic factors affecting the blockchain industry, and incorporate these insights into research deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related fields with a strong foundation in blockchain technology and financial markets.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in blockchain research, investment analysis, or financial modeling, preferably in a professional or academic setting.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis tools such as Python, R, or Excel, and experience with blockchain data platforms like Etherscan or Blockchain.com.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends, and strong communication skills to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of investment frameworks and risk assessment methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering high-quality research outputs under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, token economics, and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems, with experience in evaluating project scalability and sustainability.
- Fluency in English for written and verbal communication, and willingness to engage in continuous learning to stay ahead of industry developments.
