Key Responsibilities
- Engage in extensive research in macroeconomics and finance, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex economic indicators and financial market trends.
- Assist in conducting research on project topics by developing research frameworks, identifying relevant data sources, and performing literature reviews to support project objectives.
- Participate in or assist in on-site research activities, such as field surveys, interviews, and data gathering, and produce comprehensive research reports with clear findings and recommendations.
- Provide research support to the marketing department by analyzing market data, identifying consumer behavior patterns, and developing market analysis reports to inform marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and analysts to refine research methodologies, validate findings, and ensure the accuracy of data-driven conclusions.
- Prepare presentations and visualizations to communicate research results to non-technical stakeholders, including executives and clients.
- Stay updated on industry developments, economic policies, and financial innovations to maintain the relevance and quality of research outputs.
- Contribute to the development of research tools and databases to enhance efficiency and data management capabilities.
- Support the creation of white papers, case studies, and other analytical documents to demonstrate expertise in macroeconomic and financial analysis.
- Engage in continuous learning to improve research skills and adapt to evolving industry standards and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, or a related field with a strong academic background in quantitative analysis and economic theory.
- Proven experience in conducting macroeconomic and financial research, preferably in a professional or academic setting, with a focus on data-driven analysis and report writing.
- Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis, econometric modeling, and financial forecasting techniques.
- Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to present complex research findings in clear, concise, and accessible formats for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using research tools such as SPSS, Stata, or R for data analysis, as well as experience with data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality research outputs under pressure.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish) being a plus for international research projects.
