Job Description
The position is for a Blockchain Security Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of blockchain-based systems. This role involves comprehensive security audits, smart contract reviews, and cloud security operations to mitigate risks and enhance system resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Security Audits: Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing across blockchain business processes. Identify vulnerabilities through scanning and simulated attacks, and drive remediation efforts.
- Smart Contract Security: Perform code audits for smart contracts to detect logic flaws, improper access controls, and other vulnerabilities, minimizing financial risks and ensuring secure on-chain operations.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Participate in penetration testing and hardening of cloud services and endpoint environments. Configure and optimize security rules, and handle routine security incidents.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields preferred.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or blockchain security.
- Proficiency in blockchain architecture and smart contracts; familiarity with Web3 attack vectors and defenses (e.g., Slither, Mythril, Echidna, Foundry/Hardhat).
- Strong cybersecurity skills: penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, network traffic inspection, and malware analysis (Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, IDA Pro).
- Experience in large-scale security projects, independent troubleshooting, and cloud security practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud-native security architectures and technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS security tools (KMS, ASM, IAM, CloudTrail) or Prowler for cloud audits.
