Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance ATO risk strategy and controls to prevent unauthorized account access.
• Work with the Security engineering team to develop ATO tracking, analyze customer events, build detection rules, and develop key performance metrics.
• Evaluate the balance between ATO risk detection, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analyses to identify optimal strategies that enhance ATO risk prevention while maintaining a positive customer experience and efficient operations.
• Identify suspicious activities and patterns, and conduct thorough investigations as needed.
• Use advanced analytical methodologies to make informed risk decisions, leveraging data to drive strategies and improvements in ATO risk prevention.
• Develop cross-product ATO monitoring rule flows.
• Identify and evaluate third-party risk vendors to enhance transaction-level risk decision capabilities.
• Foster a collaborative environment between Data Science, Risk Ops, Security Engineer, Customer Service, and Compliance teams to improve monitoring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Partner with R&D to design, build, and maintain ATO risk detection and investigation tools.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in security, risk management, or fraud prevention.
• Strong understanding of account takeover (ATO) risks and prevention strategies.
• Experience working with security engineering teams to develop detection rules and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to conduct cost-benefit analyses and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify suspicious patterns and conduct investigations.
• Experience evaluating and integrating third-party risk vendors.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Risk Ops, and Compliance.
• Experience partnering with R&D teams to design and build security tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive security initiatives across the organization.
