Job Description
Seeking a professional with hands-on experience in financing activities within the Web3 industry. This role involves actively participating in diverse fundraising strategies, including but not limited to private equity, initial DEX offerings (IDO), initial coin offerings (ICO), institutional investments, and individual fundraising. The candidate will be responsible for managing market value dynamics across different stages of Web3 projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and investor expectations. This position requires a deep understanding of the financial ecosystem in blockchain and decentralized technologies, with a focus on capital raising, valuation modeling, and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in comprehensive financing processes for Web3 projects, covering private equity placements, IDO/ICO execution, and institutional/individual fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market value management strategies during project development, growth, and maturity phases.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financing and issuance pricing logic for blockchain-based ventures, including token economics, market demand assessment, and capital structure optimization.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, venture capital firms, and key stakeholders to facilitate investment opportunities and funding pipelines.
- Provide strategic insights on fundraising efficiency, market entry timing, and investor relations management to maximize project valuation and liquidity.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in financial institutions such as Fund Advisors (FA), Venture Capital (VC), or corporate finance departments, with a track record of managing investment and financing relationships in the Web3 space.
- Strong understanding of Web3 project financing mechanisms, including token issuance strategies, valuation methodologies, and capital market dynamics.
- Excellent command of English, with additional language proficiency (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, or Korean) being a significant advantage for cross-border deal execution.
- Background in finance-related fields such as investment banking, venture capital, or cryptocurrency trading, with relevant certifications like CFA or CPA preferred.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data, prepare valuation reports, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and investors.
- Proactive approach to identifying funding opportunities, negotiating terms, and managing risks associated with Web3 project financing.
- Collaborative mindset to work with blockchain developers, legal teams, and marketing departments in executing fundraising strategies.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing Web3 financing, including securities laws and compliance requirements for token offerings.
