Job Description
As a Multilingual SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies for our company's multilingual websites (including Russian, Arabic, Spanish, etc.) to drive organic traffic and conversion growth across different language markets. You will conduct comprehensive keyword research tailored to local user search behaviors and develop content optimization strategies accordingly. Your role includes auditing and optimizing multilingual content elements such as titles, meta descriptions, URL structures, and internal linking to ensure SEO best practices.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including content creators, translators, designers, and developers to efficiently launch optimized content. Managing technical SEO aspects like hreflang tags, site architecture, crawling, and indexing for multilingual websites will be part of your core responsibilities to enhance overall site health. You'll monitor key SEO performance metrics including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and click-through conversions, producing detailed optimization reports.
Staying updated with search algorithm changes and user behavior trends in different language markets will enable you to provide localized SEO recommendations. Additionally, you may assist in managing multilingual content teams or interns to maintain content quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies for multilingual websites (Russian, Arabic, Spanish, etc.)
- Conduct localized keyword research and create content optimization plans
- Optimize multilingual content elements (titles, descriptions, URLs, internal links)
- Coordinate with content, translation, design, and technical teams
- Manage hreflang tags, site structure, crawling and indexing for international sites
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics and generate reports
- Research local search trends and algorithm updates for different markets
- Support management of multilingual content teams/interns
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of SEO experience, multilingual SEO experience preferred
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO)
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, GA)
- Experience with multilingual SEO elements (hreflang, international site structures, localization)
- Reading proficiency in at least one foreign language (Russian, Arabic, Spanish, French, etc.)
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management and cross-department communication abilities
- Experience managing regional market SEO or building from scratch is a plus
