Job Description
As a Web3 Contract Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining smart contracts for blockchain platforms. This role is part of the Web3+AI Track, focusing on creating innovative solutions that leverage both decentralized technologies and artificial intelligence. You will work on projects involving Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Rust-based blockchain systems, contributing to the development of secure, scalable, and efficient on-chain protocols. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers, to deliver cutting-edge decentralized applications (DApps) and cross-chain infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy smart contracts for blockchain platforms, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices
- Conduct thorough audits of existing contracts to identify and resolve vulnerabilities
- Optimize contract performance for scalability, gas efficiency, and interoperability across different blockchain networks
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate machine learning models into blockchain protocols
- Design and implement decentralized financial (DeFi) systems, NFT marketplaces, and DAO governance frameworks
- Participate in technical discussions to define architecture requirements and system specifications
- Document contract logic, testing procedures, and deployment workflows for team knowledge sharing
- Stay updated with emerging trends in blockchain technology and AI integration
- Provide technical support for contract-related issues and monitor network activity for anomalies
- Contribute to the development of cross-chain bridges and interoperability solutions
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise in smart contract development with a minimum of 3 years of experience in blockchain ecosystems
- Advanced proficiency in Solidity (EVM) and Rust programming languages, with a strong understanding of cryptographic protocols
- Deep knowledge of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized application development
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and integration of AI models into blockchain systems
- Strong background in security best practices, including formal verification and smart contract testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering scalable and secure blockchain solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, innovative environments
- Preferred: Experience with cross-chain development, DeFi protocols, or NFT infrastructure
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus for global collaboration
