Job Description
As Zerion's Community Lead, you will serve as the primary owner of our community engagement strategies, driving meaningful value through daily DeFi user interactions. Your role will focus on enhancing brand visibility, fostering user loyalty, and cultivating a vibrant community ecosystem that supports both our users and partners. You will collaborate closely with the Growth team to manage social media platforms, community management initiatives, and engagement campaigns, ensuring alignment with Zerion's overall vision. This hybrid position bridges the Community and Growth teams, requiring you to balance creative execution with strategic growth objectives while maintaining a consistent brand identity across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community flows to maximize user engagement, brand awareness, and lifetime loyalty for Zerion's ecosystem
- Oversee social media operations, including content creation, campaign management, and community call coordination
- Monitor and analyze community platform insights (primarily Discord with over 10k members) to inform strategic decisions
- Design and manage a comprehensive community calendar featuring events, AMAs, and platform improvements
- Lead social media activation campaigns, visual content creation, and brand messaging across all channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align internal and external stakeholders on community priorities
- Stay updated on DeFi/Crypto community management trends and implement innovative practices
- Act as Chief Vibes Officer, creating and curating meme content to strengthen brand personality and community culture
- Develop community education programs to empower teams with knowledge about community-building principles
- Measure community engagement metrics and report on campaign effectiveness to optimize strategies
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management within the DeFi or Web3 space (minimum 2 years)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation tools, and community engagement strategies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to craft compelling brand narratives and user-centric messaging
- Proficiency in managing large community platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram) and moderating user interactions
- Experience with campaign planning, execution, and measurement frameworks for growth initiatives
- Ability to create and maintain a consistent brand identity across multiple channels and touchpoints
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and crypto market dynamics
- Strong visual design skills for creating engaging social media content and meme assets
- Excellent collaboration and cross-team coordination abilities
- Passion for building and nurturing community ecosystems in the Web3 space
- Fluency in English with ability to communicate effectively with global audiences
- Experience with community analytics tools and data-driven decision making
- Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources for community initiatives
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with community onboarding processes and user retention strategies
- Knowledge of NFTs, DAOs, and other Web3 concepts
- Ability to create content calendars and manage event logistics
