Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw podcast footage into polished, professional videos
• Create short-form video clips (30-90 seconds) optimized for social media platforms
• Add captions, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance viewer engagement
• Ensure consistent branding and style across all video content
• Collaborate with the content team to identify key moments for clip creation
• Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios
• Manage and organize video assets in our digital library

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, preferably with podcast or long-form content
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Understanding of social media video formats and best practices
• Ability to identify compelling moments in long-form conversations
• Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling skills
• Good time management skills to meet regular publishing deadlines
• Basic knowledge of audio editing and mixing is a plus
• Portfolio demonstrating previous video editing work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with podcast content or interview-style videos
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation
• Familiarity with YouTube and social media algorithms
• Understanding of SEO principles for video content
