Director of Product (toC | Startup)
As the Director of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's toC product strategy and driving its growth from inception to scaling. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence and market fit.
- Define and execute the overall product vision and strategy for toC products, actively participating in core business decisions.
- Utilize proven product methodologies to establish frameworks, set milestones, and guide products through phases of 0→1 or 1→N growth.
- Deeply understand user needs and business objectives, making high-quality product decisions amid uncertainty.
- Lead and mentor the product team to enhance their strategic thinking, execution capabilities, and delivery quality.
- Own core requirement definitions, product designs, and release cycles, collaborating efficiently with R&D, design, and operations teams.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor movements to drive rapid experimentation and iterative improvements.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in toC product management, with full lifecycle exposure; startup or 0→1 experience preferred.
- Strong grasp of product methodologies (user research, demand assessment, prioritization, growth, data loops, etc.), avoiding superficial approaches.
- Independent judgment and decision-making skills to advance products under resource constraints.
- Experience managing or mentoring product teams, setting standards, and fostering talent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Web3/Crypto/blockchain products and ecosystems; fluency in English (reading, writing, meetings); experience serving global users.
