Job Description
As an ASO expert for a cryptocurrency exchange, you will be responsible for enhancing the visibility, downloads, and conversion rates of the app across major global app stores (primarily Apple App Store and Google Play). Through in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and metadata optimization, combined with an understanding of cryptocurrency user behavior, you will drive organic user growth and be accountable for key business metrics such as trading volume and registrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development & Keyword Research: Formulate and execute data-driven ASO strategies, including keyword mining, lexicon building, filtering, and user search intent analysis. Leverage industry-specific trends (e.g., project popularity, token names, market fluctuations) to identify and integrate trending keywords.
- App Store Metadata & Asset Optimization: Write and optimize app store metadata (e.g., app name, subtitle, keyword list, description) to align with store algorithms while attracting target users. Collaborate with design teams to manage and refine visual assets (icons, screenshots, preview videos) via A/B testing to improve conversion rates (CVR).
- Competitor & Market Analysis: Monitor app store algorithm changes and industry trends, analyze competitor activities (e.g., keyword coverage, asset updates, campaign strategies), and identify market opportunities and risks. Conduct deep dives into competitor keywords and user reviews to inform product and operational improvements.
- Data Analysis & Paid Campaign Synergy: Utilize ASO tools (e.g., Sensor Tower, App Annie, AppTweak) to analyze core metrics (impressions, downloads, keyword rankings, CVR, retention) and deliver actionable insights. Some roles may involve managing or supporting Apple Search Ads (ASA) and Google Ads to align paid and organic growth strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, engineering, and marketing teams to implement ASO recommendations in product iterations and ensure alignment with broader growth objectives.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3+ years in ASO or mobile app growth. Prior experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, online trading, or competitive internet products is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ASO tools (Sensor Tower, App Annie, AppTweak, MobileAction); familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs) is advantageous. Bonus for expertise in Apple Search Ads (ASA) and Google UAC campaign logic and optimization.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills to derive insights, formulate hypotheses, and validate through A/B testing.
- Language: Excellent English proficiency for global app store localization. Regional language skills (e.g., CIS) may be required for specific markets.
- Soft Skills: Deep interest and knowledge in blockchain/cryptocurrency trends and user behavior. High accountability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
