DeSchool Overseas BD is a pivotal role focused on expanding the global footprint of DeSchool's educational platform. This position will lead initiatives to establish and grow the English-speaking community ecosystem, driving content collaboration and engagement. The role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and operational execution to ensure DeSchool's presence in international markets, particularly North America, is both impactful and sustainable. Key responsibilities include identifying and nurturing partnerships with content creators, managing community engagement platforms, and coordinating offline events to strengthen brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively seek out and attract content providers to join DeSchool's platform, ensuring a diverse and high-quality library of educational materials.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the English community space, including content curation, user interaction, and community growth strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate community projects such as the Lens ecosystem, enhancing user experience and platform functionality.
- Represent DeSchool at offline events and networking opportunities in the United States, building relationships with stakeholders and potential partners.
- Coordinate the transfer and utilization of DeSchool's North American resources, ensuring seamless alignment with overseas business objectives.
- Develop and implement market-specific strategies to increase adoption of DeSchool's services in English-speaking regions.
- Monitor community engagement metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize content delivery and user retention.
- Engage in continuous research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the global education market.
Job Requirements
- Native or fluent English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with international stakeholders.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within the education or content creation industry, with a focus on international markets.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with content providers and community partners.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including event planning, resource allocation, and community management.
- Knowledge of digital platforms and community engagement tools, with experience in managing online ecosystems such as the Lens project.
- Ability to travel to the United States for offline events and business meetings, with a flexible schedule to accommodate international commitments.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, using metrics to evaluate the success of community initiatives and business development efforts.
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to navigate diverse markets and build trust with international partners.
