Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of blockchain data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform strategic decisions. This includes performing mathematical derivations for DeFi protocols to evaluate their economic models and security parameters.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive smart contract analysis reports, ensuring clarity and actionable insights for stakeholders. This requires meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of blockchain architecture.
• Collaborate with product teams to refine and optimize ideas through data-driven methodologies. Translate complex technical findings into practical improvements that enhance user experience and system efficiency.
• Work alongside software engineers to validate development outputs, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and functional requirements. This involves iterative testing and feedback loops to improve code quality and system performance.
• Design and implement robust data analytics pipelines, leveraging tools like Python, SQL, and blockchain explorers to process and visualize large datasets. Maintain these processes to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient querying capabilities. This includes optimizing database structures for high-performance blockchain applications.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the blockchain and DeFi space, providing insights that drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Job Requirements

• Proven expertise in blockchain technology, with a strong focus on DeFi protocols and smart contract analysis. Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis within the blockchain industry.
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Python, and JavaScript. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, and Power BI is essential.
• Deep knowledge of database systems, including SQL databases and blockchain-specific data storage solutions. Experience with data modeling and optimization techniques is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable conclusions. Strong attention to detail is critical for accurate reporting.
• Collaborative mindset with proven experience working in cross-functional teams. Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Strong understanding of DeFi economics, including tokenomics, yield farming, and liquidity provision. Familiarity with blockchain consensus mechanisms and network protocols is preferred.
• Proficiency in using blockchain explorers and analytics platforms to extract and process data. Experience with tools like Etherscan, Alchemy, and Chainalysis is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong organizational skills to ensure timely delivery of projects and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings in clear, concise, and professional formats. Strong teamwork and leadership abilities are preferred.
• Preferred qualifications include a degree in computer science, data science, or a related field. Certifications in blockchain technology or DeFi protocols are a plus.
