Job Description
This role is pivotal in driving the development and maintenance of robust developer tooling and infrastructure solutions for a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams and integrating partners to ensure seamless implementation of tools and protocols. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, streamlining integration processes, and creating comprehensive resources to empower developers. The position also involves collaborating on product evolution and participating in community-driven initiatives to foster innovation and adoption. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology and a passion for building scalable solutions that benefit both developers and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for developer tooling and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with project goals and incorporating feedback from integrating partners to improve tooling efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with DeFi builders and institutional stakeholders to streamline integration workflows, reducing friction and accelerating time-to-market for new features and applications.
- Develop in-depth documentation and tutorials that explain tooling functionalities and core protocol code, enabling integrators to quickly understand and implement solutions.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the engineering team to identify opportunities for product upgrades and new versions, ensuring technical feasibility and user-centric design.
- Engage in hackathons and other events where Launch Labs are present, guiding builders in developing innovative applications on top of the platform while fostering a collaborative ecosystem.
- Monitor and analyze integration challenges to propose and implement improvements in tooling, documentation, and infrastructure, enhancing the overall developer experience.
- Act as a liaison between developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication of technical requirements and successful delivery of integration projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform's tooling ecosystem by staying updated on industry trends and integrating new technologies where applicable.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain development, with a strong background in DeFi protocols and developer tooling ecosystems.
- Excellent technical writing skills to create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for developers and integrators.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and external partners, to achieve shared objectives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize integration processes for scalability and security.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines to support efficient development and deployment workflows.
- Experience with smart contract development and deployment on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Solidity, JavaScript, or Python to understand and contribute to core protocol code.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences during events and collaborations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges in the integration process.
- Strong understanding of decentralized systems and their implications for developer tooling, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
