Job Description
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating upstream suppliers (cloud/node/data/payment, etc.), conducting price comparisons, and negotiating commercial terms. This role involves signing procurement contracts, managing supplier relationships, ensuring service stability, and optimizing costs. The specialist will continuously monitor market trends to refine procurement strategies and reduce unit costs. Additionally, they will collaborate with technical teams to clarify resource specifications, ensuring procurement aligns with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and assess upstream suppliers (cloud, node, data, payment, etc.) through market research and due diligence.
- Conduct price comparisons and lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and adjust procurement strategies to minimize costs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define resource requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with the infrastructure ecosystem, particularly in transit or related fields, with existing upstream supplier channels or procurement experience.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement or commercial negotiation experience, capable of independently handling RFQs, price comparisons, and contract finalization.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese to facilitate direct communication with overseas suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform cost calculations and optimize procurement budgets.
- Prior experience in cloud services, IT procurement, or legal contract management is a plus.
