Job Description
Our rapidly expanding Web3 company is seeking a seasoned Project Manager (Web3 Marketing) to lead the development and execution of innovative strategies for our NFT GameFi project in China. This role will focus on building and nurturing a Web3/NFT-centric community through targeted marketing initiatives, leveraging blockchain technology and decentralized ecosystems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, design, and operations, while also managing relationships with external partners such as influencers, media outlets, and ad agencies. You will be responsible for driving user acquisition metrics, enhancing community engagement through content and events, and ensuring the successful launch and scaling of our Web3/NFT initiatives. The position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Chinese Web3 market, capable of translating complex blockchain concepts into compelling marketing narratives for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to grow Web3/NFT communities in China, including social media campaigns, content creation, and event planning. This involves identifying target demographics, crafting tailored messaging, and measuring campaign ROI across multiple platforms.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of marketing projects, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand positioning. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Design teams to translate community insights into actionable features and user experiences for the NFT GameFi platform. This requires close coordination to ensure marketing strategies complement product development cycles.
  • Manage partnerships with external stakeholders, including KOLs, media platforms, and ad networks, to maximize reach and engagement. This involves negotiating collaboration terms, monitoring partner performance, and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user growth, retention rates, and community activity levels to optimize campaign effectiveness. This includes using data analytics tools to derive actionable insights and report on community health metrics.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all marketing activities adhere to Chinese regulations and platform guidelines. This requires staying updated on evolving compliance requirements and mitigating legal risks in Web3 campaigns.
  • Lead the creation of community-driven content, including educational materials, tutorials, and interactive experiences, to foster long-term user loyalty. This involves developing content calendars and ensuring alignment with brand voice and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate cross-border collaboration with international teams while maintaining a deep understanding of the Chinese Web3 market landscape. This includes managing cultural nuances, regulatory differences, and market trends across regions.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations for improvement. This involves synthesizing complex data into clear, concise presentations for executive decision-making.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in Web3 marketing, NFT technology, and GameFi ecosystems to maintain a competitive edge in the market. This includes attending industry events, following thought leadership, and conducting competitive analysis.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the Web3, NFT, or GameFi sectors, with a proven track record of successful community growth initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliver measurable results is essential.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps) to effectively communicate with technical teams and stakeholders. This includes knowledge of consensus mechanisms, token standards, and on-chain governance models.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, along with experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital platforms. Must have experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Mixpanel for campaign tracking.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret user data, engagement metrics, and market trends, enabling data-driven decision-making for campaign optimization. Requires expertise in A/B testing, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and community members across different time zones and languages. Must have experience managing multilingual teams and cross-cultural communication challenges.
  • Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently while maintaining high-quality deliverables for marketing projects. Requires experience with financial planning tools and cost-benefit analysis for Web3 initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with additional certifications in Web3 marketing or blockchain technology preferred. Relevant certifications such as Google Analytics or Meta's Web3 Marketing credentials are advantageous.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with global teams and local stakeholders in China. Must have experience with translation tools and cultural localization of marketing content.
  • Experience in managing community engagement through social media, forums, and Discord channels, with a focus on building long-term relationships with users. Requires knowledge of community management frameworks and user retention strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strong focus on collaboration, transparency, and achieving shared objectives in a fast-paced environment. Must have experience with agile methodologies and remote team management.
  • Knowledge of Web3 marketing trends, including tokenomics, staking mechanisms, and decentralized governance models, to align strategies with industry best practices. Requires understanding of Web3 economics and DAO structures.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure the timely delivery of marketing initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality. Must have experience with Gantt charts and task management systems.
  • Experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns for NFT projects, including launch strategies, onboarding processes, and retention tactics. Requires knowledge of NFT market dynamics and user acquisition funnels.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and technological advancements, with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities for community growth. Must have experience with rapid prototyping and iterative campaign adjustments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges in project execution, stakeholder management, and community engagement while maintaining a positive team culture. Requires experience with conflict resolution and process improvement in decentralized teams.
