Job Description
Responsible for inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure they meet the required quality specifications. This includes conducting thorough examinations using standardized protocols and documentation to verify compliance with industry benchmarks and internal standards. Collaborate closely with operations managers to develop and implement quality control measures, identifying opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation. Ensure all workflows, production processes, and final products adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues, analyzing root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and maintain corrective action plans, solutions, and process improvements to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency. Review technical codes, specifications, and procedures to ensure alignment with quality requirements and regulatory frameworks. Document findings, test results, and recommendations in a clear and organized manner for audit trails and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual quality inspections on raw materials, finished goods, and production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct detailed testing procedures using calibrated equipment and validated methods to evaluate product performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and compliance, to design and implement quality control systems.
  • Investigate deviations, defects, or non-conformances in products or processes, and conduct root cause analysis to identify corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality reports, documentation, and records to support audits, regulatory submissions, and internal reviews.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures, providing feedback to improve processes and reduce defects.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure all quality activities are compliant and aligned with evolving requirements.
  • Participate in corrective action meetings and contribute to the development of solutions to address quality issues and enhance product reliability.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field, with a focus on quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, preferably in manufacturing or production environments, with a strong background in manual testing and inspection techniques.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, or OSHA) and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all quality activities.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop actionable solutions for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams, document findings, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software, data analysis tools, and documentation systems to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency in all quality-related tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies for quality improvement.
  • Certifications in quality management systems (e.g., ASQ, ISO 9001) or relevant industry standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and audit procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for quality evaluation.
  • Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram) and corrective action planning.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
