Our platform caters to cryptocurrency derivatives traders by providing low latency, deep liquidity, and maximum availability. Currently, BitMEX offers more than 100 derivatives contracts, 16 pairs for spot trading, and an easy convert function between 30+ different cryptocurrencies.
In 2015, BitMEX revolutionized the market by inventing the Perpetual Swap, which has since become the most widely traded crypto product. Demonstrating a commitment to transparency, since 2021, BitMEX has been among the first exchanges to regularly publish its on-chain Proof of Reserves and Proof of Liabilities, ensuring that the funds available exceed the total client balances.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically identify, research, and acquire new Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers across various platforms within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
- Negotiate favorable deals and contracts with KOLs, effectively overcoming objections to secure high-impact partnerships.
- Develop product/brand positioning and messaging tailored for KOL activations, ensuring these are integrated into relevant marketing materials.
- Design and execute integrated KOL-driven campaigns from strategy and brief, through execution, performance measurement, and effectiveness reporting.
- Manage and optimize ongoing KOL relationships, continuously monitoring their performance against key metrics.
- Ensure timely execution of planned campaigns in all targeted channels and follow up with measurement of those campaigns.
- Ensure marketing materials produced by different parties are consistent with the campaign’s messaging and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, competitor landscape, community feedback, and best practices in exchange products and digital marketing.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in growth hacking or performance marketing, specifically within the crypto industry, with a focus on KOL/influencer acquisition and management.
- Experience working in the crypto trading space, including key players, trends, and channels is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals with external partners, along with strong objection handling skills.
- In-depth knowledge of product/brand campaigns and how to leverage KOLs for maximum impact.
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to think outside the box to develop unique and effective growth strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Basic graphic design skills and a creative, fun mindset is highly desirable.
