Job Description
Design smart contract architecture from first principles: Collaborate with the core development team to design new protocols and customizable frameworks. Take full ownership of developing new features or independent product modules from scratch, writing clear and highly optimized Solidity code for EVM-compatible chains.
Debug and fortify complex contract systems: Diagnose issues in deployed Solidity systems, including tracking cross-contract calls, decoding failed transactions, analyzing state changes during upgrade paths, and identifying subtle logic vulnerabilities.
Vault Factory and external submission reviews: Evaluate external Vault Factory implementations submitted by partner teams, assessing their correctness and security, and providing precise, actionable technical feedback.
Rapid MVP development: Quickly build Proof of Concept (PoC) or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) backends for new features when needed, validating ideas at high speed before handing them off to dedicated backend teams for refinement.
AI-assisted workflows: Utilize AI tools and agent capabilities to accelerate contract development, testing, and documentation, while maintaining responsibility for critical design, security, and correctness decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy secure, non-trivial smart contracts with custom AMM logic, Vault/routing systems, upgradeable proxies, or other complex state contract systems.
- Deep understanding of EVM internals including storage layout, call semantics, gas mechanisms, and delegatecall/proxy behaviors.
- Solid knowledge of DEX and AMM mechanics (Uniswap v2/v3/v4), including pool mathematics, tick/liquidity management, swap routing, and risk factors like slippage and MEV.
- Debug complex smart contract systems by tracing failed transactions and analyzing multi-contract call chains to identify root causes.
- Maintain security-first mindset when writing on-chain code, always considering edge cases and adversarial inputs.
Job Requirements
- Proven Solidity expertise with experience deploying sophisticated smart contracts beyond simple ERC20/721 wrappers.
- Understanding of bonding curve mechanisms (constant-product and other curve types) and their asset pricing dynamics is a plus.
- Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese for effective communication with global teams.
- Rust experience is beneficial but not mandatory for future chain integrations.
- Strong interest in token mechanism design, AMM architecture, RWA structures, or DeFi primitives.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex protocol concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability to work across European to Asia-Pacific time zones (up to UTC+9).
- Adaptability to startup pace with willingness for on-call responsibilities and strong ownership of production systems.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package with meaningful equity/token incentives
- Fully remote, asynchronous-first work culture
- Direct ownership of core features - your deployed contracts will carry your signature
- Opportunity to help define new Web3 foundational primitives with the team
