Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing procedures. You will work closely with the development team to identify, document, and track defects, contributing to the overall improvement of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete testing requirement analysis, test case writing, test execution, and test report writing
- Track product defects and assist in developing and locating issues
- Proficient in software testing processes, software testing tools, and the use of defect management systems
- Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus
