Job Description
The Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of exchange systems through comprehensive testing methodologies. This role requires deep technical expertise and a thorough understanding of exchange operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing for exchange systems including spot trading, contract trading, order matching, and aggregation core functionalities
- Design and execute smoke tests to verify basic system functionality
- Perform stress testing to evaluate system performance and stability under high concurrency and heavy load scenarios
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Prepare detailed test reports documenting findings, problem analysis, and optimization recommendations
- Independently establish comprehensive test cases covering business processes, boundary conditions, and exception scenarios
- Collaborate with development teams for issue identification, resolution, and tracking
- Participate in test process optimization and continuous improvement of testing tools/frameworks
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as Test Engineer or related role with solid understanding of software testing processes
- Familiarity with exchange operations including spot/contract trading, order matching and aggregation logic
- Ability to independently design comprehensive test cases and respond quickly to business requirements
- Proficient in smoke testing, stress testing and automation testing with tools like JMeter/Selenium/Postman
- Strong documentation skills for clear test reporting and problem analysis
- Excellent Chinese communication skills for effective team collaboration
- Linux environment experience with scripting skills (Python/Shell)
- Open to remote work or relocation to Dubai
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing high-concurrency scenarios in exchange systems
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Robot Framework/pytest)
- Familiarity with Golang or backend languages for code debugging
- Advanced performance testing tool experience (LoadRunner/Gatling)
- Understanding of blockchain/cryptocurrency exchange testing requirements
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipeline integration
