UI/UX Designer (Web3 Focus)
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with specialized experience in Web3 and blockchain technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for complex blockchain applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Complex Process Simplification: Design user experiences for core blockchain products including block explorers, wallets, Staking interfaces, and cross-chain bridges. Transform complex blockchain interactions (transaction signing, private key management, smart contract interactions) into intuitive workflows to lower entry barriers for new users.
- End-to-End Design: Lead information architecture, interaction flows, and high-fidelity UI/prototype design for web and mobile platforms. Manage the complete design lifecycle from user research to final visual implementation.
- Data Visualization: Create clear dashboards to visualize complex blockchain data (on-chain assets, transaction history, Gas fees, network status) to support user decision-making.
- Design System Development: Establish and maintain a unified design language system and UI component library to ensure visual consistency, usability, and brand recognition across platforms (Web, iOS, Android).
- User Research & Iteration: Conduct user interviews and usability tests, with special focus on Web3 native user behaviors, to continuously optimize product experience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs while maintaining technical feasibility.
Job Requirements
- Industry Experience: Must have Web3/blockchain design experience with portfolio demonstrating complete design cases for wallets, DeFi, blockchain explorers or NFT projects.
- Technical Understanding: Deep knowledge of blockchain fundamentals including WalletConnect, transaction states, Gas mechanisms, key management, and cross-chain bridge principles.
- Professional Skills: Expertise in Figma with strong aesthetic sense (typography, color, micro-interactions). Solid UX foundation including user journey mapping and usability testing methodologies.
- Security Awareness: Ability to design interfaces that clearly communicate security risks (authorization scopes, phishing prevention) while meeting decentralized custody requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of front-end code (React/Vue) for better developer collaboration.
- Motion design or illustration skills.
