Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer, Backend to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating team efforts for assigned projects, developing new data pools, and enhancing existing ones. This position requires deep expertise in data acquisition and transformation, as well as active participation in software design. Collaboration with colleagues in a fast-paced, project-oriented virtual team environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate his/her team for assigned projects
- Develop new data pools and enhance existing ones
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data acquisition and transformation
- Participate in software design and architecture discussions
- Collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment based on project-oriented virtual teams
Framework, Boundaries of Work, Authority & Decision Making
- Responsible for developing assigned IT projects within the company
- Coordinate all assigned IT production and delivery related matters within project technical boundaries
- Ensure alignment on assigned IT projects with each of the other company involved departments
- Manage assigned projects budgetary responsibility
- Work within substantially diversified, established procedures, standards and precedents; generally non-supervised
- Adapt to changing priorities or differing situations encountered in the work environment
- Exercise latitude in determining which procedures should be followed and in what sequence to achieve required results
- Operate within practices and procedures which have clear precedents and/or operational guidance
- Be subject to managerial control and review of results
Work Environment
The position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with project-oriented virtual teams. The incumbent will need to adapt to changing priorities and exercise judgment in selecting appropriate procedures to achieve project goals. While the role offers significant autonomy in decision-making, all work remains subject to managerial review and oversight.
