Job Description
We are seeking a Junior In-House Counsel to join our legal team. This is a remote position with working hours from 9am to 6pm. The ideal candidate will provide legal support on business, regulatory, and compliance matters, particularly in the fintech and cryptocurrency sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on business, regulatory, and compliance issues, with a focus on fintech and cryptocurrency sectors.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in operational areas.
- Manage relationships with external legal advisors and assist in handling cross-border legal affairs.
- Support intellectual property management, including trademark applications and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing internal policies and legal frameworks to ensure operational compliance.
- Resolve disputes and provide litigation support when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and legal trends related to fintech and cryptocurrency.
Job Requirements
- Must be Malay or Singaporean (Nationality requirement).
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
- 1-3 years of legal experience, preferably in fintech, cryptocurrency, or corporate law.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Proactive in staying informed about legal developments in relevant sectors.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time remote position with standard working hours from 9am to 6pm. The role offers flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a dynamic legal team.
