Job Description
The Global Creators Lead will oversee and guide a cross-functional team dedicated to developing and managing global programs that support a diverse ecosystem of creators. This includes nurturing individual artists, professional studios, and incentive-driven initiatives within The Sandbox platform. The role requires strategic vision to shape the department's roadmap, ensuring alignment with platform goals and industry trends. Key responsibilities involve fostering collaboration between teams, driving innovation in creator tools, and cultivating a sustainable community for content creators in the gaming and web3 space.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the Global Creators department, focusing on market expansion, competitive analysis, and creator engagement metrics
  • Continuously gather and analyze qualitative feedback from creators and studios, combined with quantitative data from gaming/web3 platforms, to refine program strategies and improve user experience
  • Establish, monitor, and communicate Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Global Creators team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quarterly business objectives
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to design and implement innovative features such as Game Maker tools, monetization frameworks, and analytics dashboards that address creators' needs
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to create and execute content strategies for global initiatives, including high-impact events like Creators Day and the Creators Awards
  • Partner with the Marketing team to identify and nurture emerging talent, developing targeted programs to accelerate the growth of new creators within The Sandbox ecosystem
  • Build and maintain a high-performing, culturally diverse team across multiple international regions, ensuring operational excellence and team cohesion
  • Monitor industry developments in gaming and web3 technologies to stay ahead of market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of creator programs, including engagement rates, content quality, and community growth indicators
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of creator initiatives with platform features and marketing campaigns
Job Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams across multiple international markets with a demonstrated track record of success in creative industries
  • Deep understanding of gaming ecosystems and web3 technologies, including blockchain-based platforms and NFT marketplaces
  • Strong strategic planning skills with ability to develop and execute long-term vision for creator programs and community development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with product, marketing, and operations teams
  • Experience in creating and managing OKRs for cross-functional teams, with a focus on measurable outcomes and performance tracking
  • Knowledge of content creation workflows and tools, including game development software, monetization models, and analytics platforms
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies for creators and studios
  • Strong project management skills with experience in coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously across different time zones
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with both internal teams and external creator communities
  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional language to effectively communicate with global stakeholders
  • Experience in developing content marketing strategies for creative communities, including event planning and award programs
  • Understanding of platform economics and how to create sustainable monetization opportunities for creators
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the creator ecosystem
  • Experience in creating and implementing creator incentive programs that drive participation and content quality
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies to promote creator initiatives and build brand awareness
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between product development, marketing campaigns, and creator needs
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders
