Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Engineer to join our Ecosystem team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and building products that drive the growth of our protocol. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that directly impact the Optimism ecosystem and the broader Ethereum community.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and build products that drive growth of the protocol
- Contribute to iterations on Optimism's governance and identity work
- Work with launch partners from across the Ethereum ecosystem
- Collect and provide feedback on the Optimism builder experience
- Collaborate with design team to fine-tune the Optimism design system
- Create smooth and elegant user experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks like React
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with modern JavaScript UI frameworks (React preferred)
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and best practices
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with Ethereum ecosystem and web3 technologies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in blockchain or decentralized application development
- Knowledge of Optimism or other Layer 2 scaling solutions
- Experience contributing to open source projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences
