Job Description:
Industry and Equity Research Analyst Intern (Focus Areas: Fintech / Blockchain / AI / Rare Earth, etc.) - Industry and Company Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of key industry sectors and leading companies, tracking narratives, products, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to develop investment insights. - Enhance Research Efficiency with AI Tools: Utilize tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and DeepSeek for data organization, financial report summaries, research comparisons, and idea synthesis. - Build Research Models and Valuation Analysis: Learn and construct financial models (DCF, comparable valuation, regression analysis, etc.), participate in company valuation and event-driven analysis to understand "the story behind the numbers." - Prepare Research Briefs and Present Findings: Engage in weekly team seminars, share industry insights, write short equity commentaries or sector notes, and collaborate with the investment team to build a research framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industry and Company Research: Analyze key sectors and leading firms, tracking narratives, products, competition, and regulations.
- AI-Assisted Research: Use AI tools like ChatGPT and DeepSeek for data processing, report summaries, and idea integration.
- Financial Modeling: Develop DCF, comparable valuation, and regression models for company analysis.
- Reporting and Presentation: Draft research notes, participate in seminars, and present findings to the investment team.
Job Requirements:
Working Hours: Minimum 4 days per week, internship duration of at least 4 months. - Strong Academic Foundation and Learning Drive: Background in finance, economics, accounting, STEM, or related fields; familiarity with investment and valuation logic in macro contexts. Prior internships in IB, securities, or fund research preferred. - Curiosity About Emerging Industries: Keen interest in AI, blockchain, rare earth, Fintech, etc., willing to learn the full cycle from "understanding tech → identifying companies → building logic → drawing conclusions." - Proficiency with Tools and Data: Skilled in Excel/Python; eager to explore AI research assistants and novel methodologies. - Clear Communication and Logical Thinking: Ability to articulate complex ideas concisely, share insights proactively, and discuss findings collaboratively.
