Job Description
As an Operations Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of Brinc's operations and accelerator programs. This position involves managing and maintaining critical database systems, organizing internal training initiatives, and providing hands-on assistance to startups at various stages of development. You will also contribute to event planning efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering innovation through efficient processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our database and data management systems, including data entry, system updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity and security
- Host workshops on data management and operational processes for our internal Brinc organization, covering topics such as data organization, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency
- Provide comprehensive support to our portfolio startups, including coordinating schedules for team meetings, managing correspondence, and handling administrative tasks such as document preparation, calendar management, and logistical planning
- Assist with the planning and coordination of various events, including startup pitch sessions, networking mixers, and industry conferences, with responsibilities ranging from venue selection to vendor coordination and post-event follow-up
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of the accelerator program, coordinating with mentors, program managers, and startup founders to maintain operational standards and resolve logistical challenges
- Take on additional responsibilities as required, such as supporting the development of operational guidelines, conducting research on industry trends, or assisting with the creation of internal documentation to streamline processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field with a strong academic record
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for administrative and documentation work
- Basic understanding of database management systems and data analysis tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external startups
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team-based projects and initiatives
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
- Fluency in English for clear communication and collaboration with global stakeholders
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate startup needs and event schedules
