Job Description
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of the startup acceleration program. This includes identifying and sourcing new startup deal flow, actively attracting startups to apply through strategic PR, marketing, and communication efforts, and building key partnerships to enhance program visibility. You will manage the entire due diligence and review process for startup applications, ensuring rigorous evaluation and alignment with program goals. Coordination of team interviews and selection activities is essential to maintain program standards. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all portfolio startup teams, providing in-depth expertise and support throughout their journey in the accelerator. Collaboration with the Marketing department is crucial to organize both internal and external events, positioning the acceleration brand as a regional leader in tech innovation. You will also participate in the Brinc Investment Committee, contributing to decision-making processes for application approvals. Regular communication with Brinc MENA, Brinc Global HQ, and the management team is required to ensure the company vision is consistently implemented and that all processes remain cohesive. The role involves organizing mentorship sessions for startups, maintaining comprehensive program calendars, tracking key metrics, and managing databases. You will be tasked with securing relevant corporate partners, mentors, and investors to engage with the startup ecosystem. Managing multiple programs and events simultaneously is a core responsibility, requiring strong organizational skills. Furthermore, you will need to thoroughly understand and deliver the 'Force' educational curriculum through the LMS platform, ensuring startups receive valuable training. This includes allocating startups to industry-specific mentors and facilitating joint workshops with the global team. Organizing and leading ecosystem events such as hackathons, design sprints, and workshops will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source new startup deal flow to expand the program's portfolio.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract startups through PR, branding, and partnership initiatives.
- Oversee the startup due diligence and review process, ensuring alignment with program criteria.
- Coordinate team interviews and selection activities to maintain high-quality standards for the accelerator.
- Act as the primary liaison and in-house expert for all portfolio startup teams, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to plan and execute internal and external events that enhance brand visibility.
- Participate in the Brinc Investment Committee to contribute to decision-making on application approvals.
